Windows 7 Ultimate?

    Anybody know if Windows 7 Ultimate allows you to install other versions of Windows 7?

    Any hacks needed to make setup recognize the other versions?

    yes you are able to choose what version of windows 7 during installation.
    i installed home premium here.

    i correct my sentence . since the official untouched iso has been leaked. i tried to install it and i noticed that i can't choose which version to install. it goes straight to install the Ultimate version.

    @ the untouched ISO you have to remove the ei.cfg file in sources directory with UltroaISO or similar program.

    If there is no pid.txt or ei.cfg, you get to choose. Otherwise it is chosen already for you.

    Regardless both Worz or Zukona releases are consider as legit ?

    official and non official only right?

    and both installations should be able to activated later with proper SLIC /cert etc ?

    I think that is the big question, if most OEM computers, from which we will get the keys and certs, would be home premium (as actually most shipping with Vista are today), then is it wiser to install home premium instead of ultimate?

    Or if we install ultimate, can you "downgrade" to home premium with the corresponding keys and certs?

    if you have the certs and table then you can install any version with the right key.
