Have been trying to upgrade to windows 10 from Windows 7 Ultimate but keep getting error that Windows need to be authenticated. Had ID Product ending in PMJBM and have tried several of the Product Keys on this website and it actually changes the Product ID on the computer but when I try to activate I get an error that states Key is invalid. Can someone help me with this problem.
What method did you initially use to activate your Windows 7 installation? Genuine key, a loader, a hack of some sort? How do you know it's changing the product key? If you're looking at the Product ID displayed by viewing This PC/Properties that's of the form 00###-10000-00000-AA###, that's not your installation key.
As far as I know the Blacklisted Key still works for upgrading a Genuine or "Genuine Enough" copy of Home Premium to Ultimate. Then after upgrading to Win 10 Pro it's activated. Trying to use the Key to activate Win 10 will fail. I recommended by PM that He try some of the Win 8.* Pro Keys floating around. I've activated a few Win 10 installs that way.
No I don't have windows 10 it will not load, says windows 7 must be activated - that is where I have the problem, I didn't have any problems until a windows update. I check the Product ID with Key Finder to see if the product key changes when I put a ID from the Blacklisted. It activated once and then tried to install Windows 10 and it stuck at 32% and when I tried again it stated I must activate Windows 7.
I've never tried the gatherossatate method yet, always just upgraded, and lately I've been doing clean installs then activating with Win 7 or 8.* keys. Doing that does have Me wondering if M$ may one day decide that My "Permanent Activation" isn't valid anymore
Afaw(e)k, once generated a HWID/Digital Entitlement during the "Free Upgrade to 10 Offer" periode is one for ever (at least till 2025) (Re)activating using a genuine 7 SP1 or 8.x key by input after clean installing 10 can (from what i've read it will) stop after the "Free Upgrade to 10 offer".
Have tried to download Daz loader without success always get blocked. can use the gatherosstate route because I can't activate my windows 7 Ultimate keep getting invalid product ID.
fix is disable your antivirus ( its telling you no daz loader to "steal" windows) and download, run after the slmgr -rearm delete and reboot open cmd administrator rights and type slmgr.vbs -rearm (press enter and might have to restart to get daz to work) now use the daz loader or manually activate with proper matching (to bios slic 2.1) lenovo certificate and New lenovo OEM key via slmgr or DAZ loader. done.
