No, I have not totally solved the problem. It comes up from time to time but not so often as before....
ouch. I see. thanks for the reply. have you tried re-installing windows ? this doesn't seem to be fatal warning or anything, but it still bothers me greatly...
Yes, I did clean installation and tried both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Same problem. No such warning notice under Vista.
Waiting....... I guess it is related to ATi driver problem or Intel Bios since we have same motherboard but different display card (My one is from Asus). Let me know if you find a solution... Thanks.
well i updated to latest chipset driver, but it didn't help. I am not even sure what it updated. Good news is that at the end, i think i fixed it. It's been an hour and i am not getting that warning ever since. i manually updated the drivers that's giving me problem to microsoft ones instead of intel ones. Go to 'control panel' - 'device manager' - 'system devices' I was having an warning for both 'intel(r)5520/5500/x58 i/o hub pci express root port 3- 340a' and 'intel(r)5520/5500/x58 i/o hub pci express root port 7- 340e' , so double click one of them Go to driver tab and driver update, manually update, choose 'pick compatible driver from the list' or something like that. (sorry mine is Korean windows) In compatible drivers list, there should be ' 'intel(r)5520/5500/x58 i/o hub pci express root port 3- 340a (intel)' and 'intel(r)5520/5500/x58 i/o hub pci express root port 3- 340a (microsoft)',etc... pick microsoft one, and it will be sucessfuly updated. do this again for all other pci express root port that 's giving u error. Hope this helps.
The error will appear again after resuming from "sleep" or playing HD movie (using windows media player but no problem with kmplayer), .You may try.......
