The bright side is there probably wont be any DX12 only games before the Windows 7 extended support end in 2020. I'll worry in half a decade .
MS is going for the juggler of Mantle. Will be interesting to see how the future unfolds and who gets the lucky charms lol
Or maybe we will see a repeat of the 3Dfx Glide / Direct3D war from the late nineties. Which sadly ended in nVidia buying up 3dfx Interactive... which i consider cheating .
Well they didn't get dx10 to work in xp either. It's time people show those greedy companies a lesson and start using a good linux distro and put MS offside.
I was a 3dfxgamer, it sucked. But 3dfx screwed the pooch on themselves. NV at least gave them some money to pay their bills lol
Don't get it. You mean Vista was w7 beta. BTW: Each new OS from M$ has got a new DX version. But they only talk of it when it is an integer version no. update and when degrading the current market leader 7 by denying an update. This is no innovation!
