you have 2 methods to fix it, both require manual install of updates:

    1- temporary fix: install KB3161664

2- official fix (not determined yet if temporary or permanent): install KB3020369, then KB3161608

    Thanks for all the replys,

2- official fix (not determined yet if temporary or permanent): install KB3020369, then KB3161608

    That worked,

Intergrating them plus the Windows 7 SP1 Convenience Rollup

"It is better to light one small candle than to sit and curse the darkness". The way I see it, the simplix pack is “one small candle” as is any offline updater. But, if someone had rather sit and complain about “the darkness” (Windows 7 updates) then that’s fine with me.

It internally does advance, it just doesn't show the progress. After a while, it tends to jump up by a huge percentage or even 100%.
