    Hi guys,

    If you played with WinsockXP repair and LSPfix in Windows 7 and now you have a DNS problem then i've a solution.

    A registry key must be restored. You can export the regisrty from a good working machine and import on the machine that have a DNS problem.

    The key is;
    HKEY_LM / Sys / CurrentControlsset / Services / Winosock (2)

    This solution had worked for me. Good Luck

    But why would you even think of using XP Winsock repair on Win7?

    ^^No Doubt

    Just run in elevated command prompt:
    netsh winsock reset

    What were trying to fix in the first place?

    I had problem like this before and I just refer to pc health advisor and everything went smoothly. I'm not sure if this can help to you but try, nothing to lost if you try. everything happens in terms of registry cleaner.
