Anyone have any crackling on x64 installs with Ac'97 Codec's? I have tried different Drivers but i still get some crackling - not much but it can get annoying after awhile playing music.
Apparently it's a result of Windows x64 corrupting some MP3 files. Vista x64 had the same issues but they put out a hotfix for vista i tried to use that same hotfix and it told me it does not apply to my windows.
The Windows 7 build 7000 had this issue with the MP3 corruption, but they made a HF for it, and it was fixed in the next build.
