i need some help please, i have put a old 500gb hdd in my wifes pc. i have installed windows 7 ultimate but i cannot activate it ive been here all weekend trying to do it so i can upgrade it back to windows 10. i dont know how many activaters ive used. plus iso from here. ive not done a pc for about 6 years so not in touch. can some1 put me out my misery and tell me what im doing wrong or put me right how to do it please.
Could you pl point me to disk layout either mbr or gpt. for mbr : daz Loader d best , for GPT EzWindSlic z best.
i think i have done my wifes pc i used RELOADER ACTIVATER im now installing windows 10 so hopfully all is well.
if installation (an upgrade where files are kept; ran from os) stops and a message appears simply saying "windows 10 installation has failed", then retry but choose not to download updates and drivers. i have had this happen on hp pavilion x360 convertible where i try to in place upgrade old 1607 oem version to new 21h2, until doing this step. otherwise idk
