8 RTM is better for me,I believe. It makes my laptop more responsive Than 8 MSDN and even 8.1 RTM.I can't see real changes in 8.1 RTM,in it's contents nor appearance .It's not even a reliable OS as I tested it and uninstalled it a few days afterwards.
Just you try it and make your own judgment.Google it to know what's RTM and MSDN.We should take the trouble to read sometimes.
The windows 8 RTM is exactly the same as the windows 8 MSDN release, i don't know where you got the idea it's different check the iso' hash and please do some googling yourself
You are a MDL EXpert. So tell me why a Genuine 8 RTM installs different drivers from the ones that are installed by a genuine 8 MSDN ,for example ?
I do the testing of OS.I rate the same computer and track the performance.I did that hundreds of times.I know exactly the difference.
@Aninvitedsoul: I believe you must be comparing 8.0 to 8.1 so yes there are some changes. Only thing I notice is less fan noise when using 8.1 compared to 8.
if the hash is the same that means it is the same iso! please give me whatever that you are smoking, i might end up agreeing with you seriously for me no more replying to your post.
What is the exact source of your MSDN and RTM versions? Where did they come from? If they install different driver versions, I'm likely to believe one or the other is either non-legitimate, or pre-release. As for the poll, I'm undecided. With mouse issues, more reliance on a Microsoft Account (apparently), and that akward coloring of every shortcut on the Start screen on 8.1, I'm not that quick to call it better. On the other hand, it probably has some under-the-hood performance tweaks and stuff which are nice. I'd still go for 8.1 just because it's newer though.
I'm with you on this. Call me crazy but somehow I felt 8.1 feels a little more polished and refined than 8. And in any case, it does everything I needed from 8, and more. 8.1 is my OS of choice.
