Windows 8.1 Activation

    Hi. My pc came with oem Windows 8.1. I want to downgrade to Windows 7. Would I still be able to activate the Windows 8.1 in the future if I add slic 2.1? Thanks in advance.

    AFAIK there isn't any problem with it, because the Product Key of W 8.1 is embedded in the BIOS of the PC.

    No, you will not be able to activate Win8.1 in the future. Slic 2.1 is for Windows 7 and Windows 8.x uses OEM:DM keys embedded in UEFI (Slic 2.1 doesn't exist in 8.x)

    Btw are you sure your UEFI/BIOS is able to downgrade to Slic 2.1?
