"SideLoadingKit.rar is damaged or in unknown format" I'm getting error with 7zip and WinRAR. Even PCbeta requires PB coins to download attachments.
I'm glad this is a thing even though I don't use Modern UI. Mostly I just hate overpriced Apple stuff. I kind-of hope stuff like this catches on and lowers Apple's bottom-line. I think the only apps I've used were the News app, Weather app, and a free Chess app.
This is great! now if someone kindly would make a tutorial to integrate updated M$ apps into installation media.
I don't believe that could be done, you need to import cert and dev license into MMC first before you could install the apps.
What is this MMC you speak of ? I've usually just added certs via command line with certutil.exe. From a DVD, you would need the mycert.cer available in the $OEM$ folder and I would import it from SetupComplete.cmd which runs under SYSTEM privilege during DVD installations.
It does not work. And to top this s**t set a xing-ling to start page in browsers. And took the privilege of administrator browser, I can no longer change the page. Should test this s**t before you post! * This does not crack any application or games appstore!
Already mentioned in OP: run the reg file (included in download pack), then it will unlock the IE home screen. A lot of people in PCBeta suceeded in side-loading using this "sh*t"(quoting you). This tool had been posted since last Aug and tested by the PCBeta admins.
Isn't this a matter of just replacing files with updated ones? since M$ apps have the same certificates? I just need to make media updated with Mail and People apps, since I'm on Dial-up connection and Windows Store won't even start downloading updates on it.
I am not sure about certs, but I am quite sure that the win8.1 apps have new appx files and dependencies, so if you are unable to download these from Store, you need to wait if somebody uploads them to share.
Guys, this is not like the first Windows Store crack which allowed Trial apps to be converted into full version apps....Microsoft made changes in the Tokens manager in 8.1 & the trial to full version license converting loophole got closed....the only way to sideload apps now is to take the appx file & repack it using this tool which signs the app with a root certificate & this root certificate eliminates the need for a license file (the root certificate needs to be installed on the PC for running the app & a developer registered account is needed for getting the ability to sideload apps)
Yup, I remember you played the crack Halo Spartan in win8, however, when it decreased the price to a few bucks, I now have it on my win8.1.
