Windows 8.1 BIOS/ SLIC activation?

    I don't find any information on Windows 8.1 about bios / slic mod, is it possible?

    I am not BIOS expert, but i can tell you this. Unless if anyone buy one and distribute the OEM files to do the R&D. I am afraid nobody will do it atleast for a month.

    Impossible.



    (Each computer now has a unique key that is validated by Microsoft online.)

    What he said, and the reason is that Windows 8.1 does not use SLIC method anymore at all. (Instead it uses an MSDM table, which contains unique information specific to each machine).

    Well if you didn't search for it you wouldn't find it. If you REALY searched for this information (at least on this forum) you would have got to the conclusion that Windows 8 /8.1 isn't realy activateable (pirateable) with this option. A few stickies are flying around which tell you this.
