Hello. im using Cisco VPN to have access to a specific location using the cisco's key for that location.
In ubuntu there is a way to convet cisco vpn key to an alternative format and like so you can use alternative vpns
Is this possible with the windows 8.1 build in VPN
I mean can anyone find a way to use the 8.1 VPN by converting the cisco's key?

Windows 8 and 8.1 support SSTP and also if you have Enterprise DirectAccess does use IPsec.

I got Shrew to work on 8.1 Pro x64 ... I had to repair the networking after the 8 --> 8.1 upgrade; after that the Shrew 2.2.2 client installed and worked.

Uninstall current version of Shrew and install lastest. Upgrade from 8 to 8.1 broke some services, so uninstall will fail at some point, but just continue and reinstall. Then will work again :) :D

you have to install Citrix DNE as Cisco VPN is not compatible with Windows 8/8.1
