For some reason Windows allows me to install Hotfixes that date back to August and even July! I know I installed those Hotfixes for a fact, but some recent updates reset all that. How can I fix it and get the latest versions of everything at this point?

There are updates for November 2013, date doesn't matter

you mean you install those hotfixes a while ago, then it get uninstalled by the system? in that case they are superseded

No, I installed all hotfixes possible a while ago, then there was the re-release "Update 2" file (a new recent addition) that Windows Update wanted me to install, which I did. Now there are new hotfixes in WHDownloader that I didn't have. I started downloading and installing them, but the sake of figuring which ones I didn't have, I began downloading older ones to make sure I had them since Windows would tel me. Instead, Windows just allowed installing updates I definitely had back in July!

Did you add another language at all? I find that WU loves to re-download all the language files when you do that.
