Well, if you read the whole article and understand how this works, you'll see that it cannot really be called a fix. It's more like an exception list and you'll have to regedit games that are not on it. Brilliant, just like the last few years of M$... All this instead of realizing that desktop gaming PCs don't need to save energy on mouse polling and also no one will play these games on a surface.
I haven't noticed any mouse lag period. Must not effect everyone. I also use MarkC Windows Mouse Acceleration Fix.
Doesn't help erratic mouse movement on osu! when in-game sensitivity is above or below 1.0x. Can't say I've noticed a mouse problem in any other game.
Even after adding the game manually to the registry or when doing that compatibility thing? But I have to agree with #2, this is hardly a proper fix.
My bad, it does work. I didn't notice that Shim command thing. Either that, or a reboot helped, and osu!'s cursor movement was fixed.
