Normally? USB or WinNTSetup, although Windows 7 is more supported than 8.x nowadays with artificial blocks in place. Originally i had 8.1 installed but found out most of the drivers only supported 7 or 10, like NVIDIA so i got 7 installed i would suggest doing the same if you have the patience and time.
30 series GPU's 3060-90 support 7 and 10 while 3050 and 3090Ti are Windows 10 only. 16 and 20 series support 7,8.1 and 10 but Nvidia was too lazy to list 8.1 in the drivers for those GPU's.
Hi all I have a i7-11700 KF processor. I recently installed Windows 8.1 Industry Enterprise, then I checked my task scheduler. I noticed turbo boost isn't enabled in Windows 8.1 at all. The fastest speed I could only get on my processor is only 3.50 GHz. I don't understand why I don't get turbo boost on Windows 8.1. Is there anyway to enable turbo boost for Windows 8.1? It really sucks the 11th gen KF processor is only limited to 3.50 GHz on Windows 8.1. Have any of you ran across this same issue too?. Please let me know what your take is on this issue, thanks.
