Just wanted to share with everyone that I have successfully kept my activation upgrading from Windows 8.1 pro activated with MS Toolkit.

After upgrading I did a clean install using WZOR ISO, skipped the CD key part and upon first boot I could see that I was already activated!

Did you remain on the VOLUME-MAK channel after clean install? Would you check it?

    Run this to check it:
    slmgr.vbs /dli

What way you are used to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro?
I have Windows 8.1 Pro with WMC activated, but I still doubt what is the best way to update. Will it work if I upgrade from an ISO file?

Close this thread. Only using official Microsoft ISOs to install then activate.

2 Windows 8.1 Pro activated with MST upgraded to activated Windows 10 Pro by mounting ISO and running setup.exe ... well, other one took 24 hours until I saw "Activated" in settings and other one was activated already during installation. It was just try and see - and it worked :)

Yes, I upgraded a 8.1 Pro WMC desktop to Windows 10 Pro. However I used a USB thumb drive with the ISO contents. I ran the setup.exe, skipped updates, and after a few reboots I was in Windows 10 :)
