I had a technet sub. that expired on Aug 16 but with a 1 month grace period. So I was able to download win 8.1 and win 8.1 N and get 2 keys for each. The subscription expired on 17 Sep, and win 8.1 enterprise has hit technet today. Not a loss since I had a standard sub which excluded enterprise. I am not sure that with the change in rules last year, I will be able to use the keys beyond sub. expiry. Only time and MS servers will tell.
I have an IEEE Dreamspark account and Windows 8 was only available for a limited time, Windows 8.1 isn't available at all.
IEEE was abused bigtime from people wanting Windows 8 very cheap, so they stopped offering Windows 8. The same with ACM (for they who remember when Windows 7 got out).
I'm sure it has at least three activations, maybe 5. But i agree that one key is not much. Glad I have my free MSDN account also (BizSpark)
I have standart student Dreamspark account and still can't see server 2012 r2, also how can i get Dreamspark premium account
Yeah what did they expect? All IEEE members (All 400.000 worldwide) have access to Dreamspark and if they all have access to a legit free copy of Windows 8 on the day of it's release... That's what you get!
Yes there is only Server 2012 R2. how can i register dreampark premium account? anu ways to get this subscription
I'm not sure if there is any place to get cheap/free DreamSpark Premium accounts anymore, programs like ACM, IEEE and NSBE got closed down pretty fast after people found out that you could get cheap/free DreamSpark accounts. If you is a real student, check with your school, maybe they offer free DreamSpark account.
hi, i recently signed up for NSBE. I was wondering if they still provide DS pro accounts? This "benefit" isn't listed in their "benefits of being a member" part of their website.
