Windows 8.1 pro rtm update to final?

    can i update the rtm version of wzt to final gdr ?

    Of course, Microsoft is expected to release a few more patches for RTM just before GA.

    I don't understand why everyone is labeling the Windows 8.1 RTM WZT copy as WZT. The Copies WZT "leaked" are the official ones being handed to the OEM's. That means there will be some patches then release for the public will be out.

    Not even the WZT leaks will be affected with getting some patches after GA or shortly before. All machines which are currently produced by OEMs have the same os on board and when booted the first time, a bunch off updates will fly in. That easy :D

    RTM are the final version. Any updates available will be handled through Windows Update.
