Does Windows 8.1 allow for trying it out for a test run for a set amount of time like Windows 7 does? If so, I am interested in upgrading my windows 7 home premium as a test to see how it works on my Optiplex 755. Any help is appreciated.

I always use Windows 8.1 Enterprise x64 with update

    Code:
    File name: En_Windows_8.1_Enterprise_With_Update_X64_Dvd_6054382.iso
    Sha1: B7DD748446D89B9449A160CDC24BD282989BBD96
search the name with google and use the pcloud link. Or find it with a torrent in Pauls MSDN Jukebox under "Enterprise X64 Versions".

Thank you for the replies and information. I just want to test it out and see what 8.1 is like. It will give me some minor insight into windows 10. I hope Windows 10 will work on this PC as well. How long is the trial period?

indefinite, however it does reboot after a certain amount of time. You can use one of the KMS tools here such as Microsoft Toolkit if you want to give it a run fully working. Link is also in my sig, you cannot use loader with 8.x just the toolkit.

Thanks for info. I won't be messing with KMS however, I find it unethical for my own interests & needs.
