windows 8.1 upgrade clean install from sources

    windows 8.1 pro cant seem to add media center although windows 8.1 is activated is says
    "you cant add features to this edition of windows"

    if it is a volume version (VL) you cannot add the WMC. Current leaked version certainly is not intended to run it as a full edition and has some restrictions.
