Hi people, I have purchased the Dell XPS 13 9343 and it has been delivered to my door today. However, contradicting to beliefs of the pros on this forum, when I check my laptop out using AIDA64 Engineer, it shows that my laptop is having a SLIC 2.1 ACPI (!) I have included 2 screenshots below, can any gurus please tell me that whether AIDA 64 is dumb or SLIC 2.1 for real ? Thank you to anyone who helps me out
Systems sold with Windows 8 will often still have a valid SLIC even though the OS doesn't use it. Windows 8 will use the MSDM table as that's what contains your unique key.
