Hi,im sorry to open new thread but i need help. I searched the forum for Windows 8.1 installation file to download but there seems to be lot different versions and confusing links which i cant open,so could anyone please post Win 8.1 x64 download link for a clean installation from Windows XP,some version which will work fine for longer period of time. Thanks for answer. Which version of these should i download,which one is most stable? Im lost with these Enterprise,Core Single,Pro VL meanings
all of them are stable. 1. CORE is the smaller most OEM use 2. Pro is the most updated version to 3. Enterprise is the Elite Version VL means it is Activated by KMS and is NOT RETAIL
@marin57 Thanking the above posts of other members, I want to say that in your case (zero techy knowledge) pick Pro VL and use a KMS activator (some of them are found here in MDL) and you are good to go.

There goes my hoping..this KMS looks like quantum physcis to me. I found some KMS in your sig and downloaded it,got Build and Clean command scripts and some other files when extracted.So im stuck now,do i need to set up this KMS after i install Win 8.1 or i need to do something with it now,or add it somehow to bootable dvd. What do i have to add to bootable dvd at all,with 8.1 VL download i got an iso file, dat file, patch-text1 text document,sfx file and info text document.
A long time ago I activated by a KMS server after finding a link in one of the Windows 8 sticky threads. I don't think you need to set up your own server.
...did you follow instructions as given by Mr.X? - First install Windows - we deal with the activation later.
