I am not sure if it exists for Windows 8.1 x64 Pro Update 1, but I remember TCP/IP patcher existed for Windows 7 SP1 x64. Is there one for Windows 8.1 Pro Update 1? Where can I get it? Are there any specific instructions needed to make it work?

Some say its worthless, but I always had improved network performance after maximizing the number of half-opened connections.

Also, is there a universal watermark removal tool? I often use Windows 8.1 Test Mode or some other mode that has a watermark - how can I get rid of it? I think I found some tools, but all links to the needed downloads were broken!

Why would you want to have a bunch of half-open tcp/ip connections?

Not yet... still sysprepping the gawdawful update things...
Then I have to test them all to make sure it doesn't give a stupid user bug like I forgot to go back into admin mode and delete murphy78 user.

Anyhow, I would think your tcp/ip stuff is better left untouched.
All torrents use udp for everything except some trackers.
I don't know how many porn windows you have open at any given time, but I don't think there's enough laggy porn in the world to hit the current limit

Awesome - thank you! You are always so helpful! I guesss the 17031 Leak ISO will work fine for now in case something goes wrong.

I think that the Half-open problem is really a thing of the past and was rather XP-Specific. I didn't ever needed it after switching to Vista/7/8/8.1.
