    This is a general thread for discussing the next leak of Windows 8. When that leak is available this thread will be locked and and the Title amended to have the leak build number. A new Findings Thread with the build number will be created along with a new Next leak discussions thread. This means there will be 2 sticked threads for each build, one for current leak findings and one for next link discussions.

    Excel List with Windows 8 and 7 Build info

    here is a Excel list i made from bit of info from the net about Windows 8 Build numbers and coresponding OLD Windows 7 Builds, it not very useful but still intresting View attachment win8_build_list.zip

    What is this news about the rumored 3D interface in win8 ?

    Can anyone confirm it?
    Is there going to be a stereoscopic interface?

    Dear Canouna/others who possess builds, is there anything like this in your builds?

    I read this at a lot of places -

    "Windows 8 is rumored to include a full 3D interface which has so far failed to leak out of Redmond’s tight ship."

    including tom warren's blog - winrumors.com/windows-8-aero-lite-metro-ui-resources-leak/
    (relatively old news)

    but still there are no screenshots or videos anywhere on the net.
    Are we missing something?

    No 3D UI? :(

    Can it be that it is still not in these builds & may surface in 8xxx build?
