Anything else I could possibly try? I also seem to get the flashing screen after uninstalling Uxstyle lol *Edit* Nevermind flashing screen didn't occur this time after uninstalling. I re-installed and it seems to be working now.
"Flashing Black Screen Of Death" I also had my theme files patches for my custom themes and everthing was working great until I had a brain fart one day and decided to "Enable" Windows updates and then within a hour got the "FBSOD", So I went on a mission to figure out which updates didn't like my patched .dlls (themeui.dll OR uxtheme.dll OR shsvcs.dll OR uxinit.dll) and over 12 hours later it all came down to the same three updates (Windows8-RT-KB2838727-x64.msu, Windows8-RT-KB2846071-x64.msu and Windows8-RT-KB2855336-x64.msu ) So hopefully all my leg work will help out someone else, and remember to always set a restore point before doing updates for the next $M patch tues..DP
