Hello, I've got a firewall which causes Windows 8 blue screens (the error is: CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION), and after trying various things in an attempt to make it work (because I simply can't do without that firewall), I have discovered by trial and error that when I boot in Debugging Mode, the problem is gone. Now, I do not mind booting in debugging mode each time I start/restart the system, but my question is: what is different in debugging mode? I do not notice any immediate changes, I do not get any warnings, everything works good, so what could happen wrong if I keep booting in debugging mode?

You could try to allow the firewall app bypass DEP, but then again would you rely on a firewall that is is effected by DEP settings?
