Windows 8 does not start all the programs at startup

    I have Synaptics Touchpad, Tuneup Utilities 2013, BatteryCare, Advanced SytemCare 6, Eset Smart Security 6 and Dfx Audio Enhancer in startup, but when I turn on my pc Windows 8 just starts Synaptics, Tuneup and BatteryCare.
    What might be the cause of this issue?

    It could be Windows defender blocking the app to run. I had the same issue with a couple of apps.

    HOW TO FIX:

    Included the app files in the 'excluded' files list - Open Windows defender > Settings > Excluded Files and Locations.

    You may also set the app files to RUN as administrator in their properties.

    Reboot your PC.



    Also, AFAIK, Tune-up Utilities isn't fully compatible with Windows 8.
