Windows 8 Installation Stuck on Getting Devices Ready

    Trying to install windows 8 RTM

    But Windows 8 Installation Stuck on Getting Devices Ready 73 % and Shows a black Page.

    Don't know if this is your problem but just in case: my netbook installation would not complete without internet connectivity. Mine didn't get stuck on a blank screen, rather I got a pop-up screen saying installation could not proceed.

    Take a wild guess that a "Device" isn't ready.

    Unplug all USB devices and try again. disconnect unnecessary peripherals. You can also remove, disable individual pieces of hardware to see if something is causing the installation to hang. If you can access the install log view it for failed hardware driver installs.
