Great contribution friend, an excellent TEU. More than one would incorporate into its Windows 8.1 TEUs. What used enough in Windows 7 was the Flip 3D. Do you know if there are any plans to bring him back? Greetings and sincerely grateful for this contribution.
About the Flip 3D There was a project that was created to Win XP and it works excellent addition to being portable: WinFlip v0.50 You could configure the middle mouse button to see the 3D effect Currently works on Windows 8/8.1/8.1 Update 1, but with errors. While there is default in Windows 7 works great. There is one for XP, the TopDesk (pay) but consumed resources I have not tried yet in Win 8. In addition to this there is a project for windows MacOSX effect: Nimi Visuals Presents problems in Win 7, but Win 8 works well, although it still has some bugs. A small contribution if you are interested. Greetings and thanks.
Filp 3D is a nice feature, what honestly I've forgot it. Version 2.0 maybe will contain more smaller Tiles and then I will choose between WinFlip and Shock Aero 3D, and maybe some other idea if someone has?
I checked out 8MFI. A few comments. I clicked on Start Menu and 8MFI installed IObit Start Menu 8 with no confirmation. I recommend adding that to give the user the option to back out before the menu is installed. Also, it would be nice to let the user know which start menu program is about to be installed. After installing Start Menu 8 I decided to remove it. Going into Control Panel/Programs and Features/Uninstall, I get this error when trying to uninstall Start Menu 8. I'd appreciate your help in getting this issue resolved as I'd like to cleanly uninstall Start Menu 8.
I did not know this program Shock Aero 3D v0.97. I tried Win 7 quickly and not convincing, too black or empty frames and has lousy rendering. WinFlip is much better. I will do more testing and post them with more accurate comparisons. Since the author left the project, I think it would be ideal for editing and enhancing WinFlip you can improve its features in Win 8/8.1 because some applications do not look at 3D animation (black squares) and is disabled when starting Windows (you must open the program and though this active icon in the notification bar). Well, I think it's too much to ask.
Most good software provides a confirmation for two reasons: to show installation options and to allow the user to back out if they are not ready to install, or change their mind after viewing the options. As for removing Start Menu 8, I used Revo Uninstaller Pro to finally remove it and the countless entries 8MFI placed in the registry. ps. I'm hoping you would mention the problem with your program before people try it.
Hey, nice program (i havent tested it cuz i have W7. ), but it looks good. Tell when u need it translated, then ill do the Norwegian part.
