I am able to install an untouched version of windows 8 core on the laptop and it will be activated when I get to the desktop.
My goal is to use an autounattend.xml but it always errors on the product code. Since there is no product code and its embedded on the MB I have not entered a product key line into the .xml.
I normally add the ei.cfg with (Retail, oem or vol) so it skips the product code on install and asks what version to install, but it is never activated when I get to the desktop. and wont ever activate. (i am choosing the correct 8 core version)

Anyone have any insite on how to make this work>???

key stored in bios dude. just reinstall the version which your laptop come with and the key will install automaticly. No need for ei.cfg or entering key

    Remove your unattend.xml
    Remove your ei.cfg
Just install without them and it will pull the key out of your bios.

I know it will work the standard way..I am trying to find out if its possible to use unattend. I want to do this on a large scale and not have just an OEM install. autounattend is required.
