The other day I installed Asus Rog Gamefirst software for my motherboard and I was playing around with it this morning and discovered that Win8 creates a permanent TCP Connection to random IP address in this range of IP Addresses. I have smartscreen disabled. 157.54.0.0 - 157.60.255.255 I did an IP address lookup etc. Whois record : MarkMonitor is the Global Leader in Online Brand Protection. Should we be concerned?
Annoying that neither have a conclusion though this one says he had smartscreen disabled so i don't know what to think.
Sorry, I talked about NSAuditor which isn't Wireshark! Don't mix that up. And I also wrote that you could use NSAuditor fully as trial, which means you didn't need to pay! Got to the website of NSAuditor and check it out!
Not sure that Wireshark is better than NS-Auditor. Personally I use the full version for year's already and it also has some features Wireshark didn't have. And I'm not somebody who refuse to pay for stuff which do the work I need from it. That I could deduct the cost via my company makes it even more easy to pay for it! And I frankly would also ask you to use a bit more friendly language while communicate with others or would you like that everybody talk to you as you talk to them? Please be polite, thanks.
Some people are 'right' in the technicality of a thing, but completely wrong as human and social beings toward others. Then think what is more important in a life. Imagine the mentality and emotional maturity of a person who goes through life that way. Padded bank account? Maybe. Personal credibility? Not so much.
@PaulDesmond: I'm glad you agree that attitudes such as the ones I described equal the end of the world
