    Hi,

    Can anyone provide the SHA-1 values for Windows 8 Pro Retail boxed version (x86 and x64)?

    Note: I believe the SHA-1 value for MSDN version of Windows 8 is different from the retail boxed version.

    Thanks

    Not urgent, but please need this badly... Please share the SHA-1 value of the official retail DVD of Windows 8 Pro (atleast for x86 disc)?

    Really appreciate it!!!

    Thanks

    BTOR.. I think its useless to compute hash of ISO build manually as ISO build with difference of seconds will have different hashes

    @Nzyme
    There is no point calculating hashes of iso build from DVD. If you search forum then you will find that hashes of downloaded retail (ESD) were different for every one of same image(UK, USA or .....).

    Edit:- Check hashes of WIM file....

    Nero or UltraISO with 'Enable ISO Volume Filter' option checked.

    BTOR: Thanks for your efforts!

    However, if there is a 6 MB difference in data between the MSDN & retail version, then how can the SHA-1 be the same? I think that they packed in some updates in the retail discs.

    He was confused with en-GB and en-US editions.
