Windows 8 Pro with WMC Activation Restore

    Hi!

    I've backed up my Windows 8 Pro with WMC Activation (i.e. backing up the spp folder in C:\Windows\System32)..I've got a genuine Windows 8 Pro key.The thing is if i reinstall Windows in the future and activate it with my genuine pro key..and after that restore the WMC Activation..would it restore Media Center as well..because when we add this key to Windows 8 Pro, it undergoes "Adding Features" and restarts a couple of times before Media Center appears...Would Activation Backup have this same effect (i.e. undergoing "Adding Features" and restarting a couple of times before Media Center appears) when restored in a fresh Windows 8 Pro Installation??

    Afaik restoring backup of a Win 8 Pro WMC will only work after installing from a selfbuild Win 8 Pro WMC ISO. Restoring in a Win 8 Pro should cause deactivation.

    Yep, you can do by hand and via tool.
