    Hey does anyone know how commands are passed to the winre under windows 8?
    If I select Refresh or Reset (all drives) how does this info get to Winre?
    The system boots into winre & does what I selected.

    Looking at WINPESHL.INI all it does is run AppPath=X:\sources\recovery\recenv.exe
    Does something get flagged in the BCD?:confused:

    Thanks

    Study and look deep into "ReAgent.xml" in Recovery folder, I believe. ☺

    Thanks m8,

    ScheduledOperation state="9" for Auto Repair
    ScheduledOperation state="8" for Reset
    ScheduledOperation state="7" for Refresh

    Haven't found any info on the net though. Not sure if I'm going to use this info yet.
    I was thinking of having my own "Full Factory Restore" before the need to login in Winre.
    Will experiment!

    To fulfill yours...
    1 = System Image Recovery
    2 = System Restore
    7 = Refresh
    8 = Reset
    9 = Auto Repair
    10 = Command Prompt
    11 = Your Custom Tool (In my case is DaRT8)

    Hope this help. ☺
