    Apart from attempting to install in VMware, I haven't seen any BSOD so far!

    @Vmware There are issues with this but virtualbox seems to work. Please see the virtualization sticky for details.

    Any way to switch back to the old (blue / detailed) BSOD screen? Looks like MS is really going the Apple way in not revealing WHY the system crashed, only the fact that it crashed...

    You can always get BlueScreenView and read dump files! Even in good old XP style!

    Pro Tools 8.0

    Install Pro Tools 8.0 in build 7850 and restart computer. Instant BSOD. Haven't tried it in 7955 yet.

    It seems that the new ATI drivers have some problems!
    Same BSOD twice in 24 hours.

    Close process csrss.exe That will cause an instant BSoD.

    Boss I did not use mobile phones according to the blue screen down, since I installed this version Windows8 7955, after more than three times more than a blue screen every time when the shutdown occurred, in addition to a blue screen sometimes outside the off chance, I did not encounter Have blue screen! :cool:
