Windows 8 update NX problem

    I have a Acer Aspire 1683 WLMI with 2GB memory and i want to know if there is a update for 3A10 Phoenix Bios that alow me to instal win 8. I also want to know what CPU can use in it in case the Bios can't be update.

    What type of Processor is installed in your laptop? You can then search the Mfg. site to find particulars such as PAE/NX which are required for W8.

    My CPU Intel Pentium M 1.7GHz.
