Windows 8 USB UEFI Install over ubuntu

    Hi,

    I have a Dell XPS 13 latest model. It came with ubuntu.

    How can I install Windows 8 on UEFI?

    I've tried several different options however I can't seem to boot into the usb.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Format your USB with FAT32 and try to Boot UEFI

    I'm just using Rufus to create a Win8 USB.

    I'm also creating a live gparted so I can wipe the disk before I install Win8.

    I removed the /boot mount on ubuntu and now i have successfully wipe ubuntu and install win8 :)

    Glad you got it working

    Still why lose ubuntu? .you can always re-install it alongside windows in UEFI platform.
