Windows 8 vs PRO = perfomance

    Is there a difference in performance between the PRO version and normal ?

    not under same conditions.
    if you use pro features which effect the system (e.g. bitlocker) than it might make a (small) difference.

    There must be some difference otherwise why there would be such two version?

    You can ONLY upgrade to PRO not the normal version.

    plus some other stuff like group policy/client hyper v/remote desktop and crap

    ?? Win 8 and Win 8 Pro both are in the WIM.

    There are differences; just not in performance.
