Hello, I've seen a post in a warez website for Windows 8 Professional and I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about it or have tried it. Probably I'm not allowed to post link to the download page but here is some info.

(PS. I know this section is for Win 7 but I don't think it fits anywhere else)

Read the "What is" it states, it's just vista modified. Probably uses an OEM key too.

My bad :S I thought it wasn't a modified OS, do you think it might be any better than 7?

The first 3 paragraphs mean nothing to this one, probably to attract people.

This means 'Windows 8 Pro Zx', or what the author calls it, is in fact modded Windows Vista SP2 which include additional programs installed.

Windows 7 is better than Vista, modded Vista does nothing to change this fact. The only good side to the modded OS is that you can have pre-installed programs/updates.

This is useless. Like it has been said it's Vista SP2 just bundled with lots of software.

Why would anyone want an OS with a lot of preinstalled software that they might not have any need for? Thats just wasted space and potential resources if any of them add services or startup programs.

2012 is the correct roadmap, 3 years between windows releases is what MS is aiming for now. That would put it at Beta/RC right around the time of 7 SP2. Right now though there is nothing but rumors out, MS hasn't even confirmed anything on Windows 8 yet, let alone if there will be a client version of Windows 8. The industry trend right now is netbooks and cloud computing. Neither of which translate very well to a traditional OS.
