After Windows 7 has launched the work for Windows 8 has started(I used build 7850 with was compiled in 2010). The question is: Has Microsoft begun the work for Windows 9 or Windows Blue?
As I said Wzor is outdated..maybe Canouna will come back? And MS has begun working to Windows 9 codenamed Blue in separate division I believe...
Absolutely definitely, they are probably already working on the pre-alpha's and concepts for Windows 10. Any inclination of whether they have gone with a better UI solution than Windows 8, or are they sticking with that crap?
So far I have heard will it include the option to rezise tiles like in Windows Phone 8. The start screen won't be going away for sure if that is what you hope. I'm also pretty sure that the desktop will get more UI updates too but no words on that yet also.
I will wait for Windows 9 to test it and see what improvements Microsoft will put in it...I wish to have aero glass back and option to chose desktop or Metro as default start P.S: Maybe Canouna will be back with news....
Friends, please do not speculate with W9 at this point. W8 still has diapers on, so you can await a new version sometimes in two years. Blue might be more interesting to wait for in the near future but don't waist your mind on 9 as of the moment
This. I'm also even not sure if the 957x branch I heard about is Windows 9 or Windows Blue. I do have to say, it can be highly possible we hear more about Windows Blue at CES in January.
Don't think that the Vegas show will bring some news on Blue. Build sometimes next year is more likely to show something about it but please take it as rumors
Of course there is, and I'm sure that there is more than just plans. But hold your horses, it's gonna be a while until we see anything of it. Windows 8 first version has leaked in April 2011, year and a half after Windows 7 sales started.
We'll wait and see...what is will be,but there are rumors that on Microsoft server allready exists Windows 8 post-RTM..and a division of people's from MS have their jobs on W9...
Don'T you have anything better to do ? I mean why do you care... We won't see a beta the first three years.
I doubt that, from what I got to know is Microsoft planning the Blue update for Summer 2013. It matches the time span of Mango update from WP7 so it is possible. The Build event is for what I think too late but will contain sessions for developing under Windows Blue's new features.
