How can I have Windows regular boot logo instead of this Asus UEFI logo? I know that if I don't use UEFI boot I will have the regular Win logo, but what I am asking if there's a way of keeping UEFI boot and install, while using a Windows logo on startup screen.
I wouldn't recommend trying to change it to the Windows Logo. It requires going from UEFI boot to legacy boot and messes with boot settings. I would strongly urge just getting this out of your head.
Thanx, but there's no quiet boot option... I have an Asus Z97-Pro motherboard. There's some other options for logo showing on startup: Auto - how it is now (the picture in the original post) Full Screen - it shows mega large Asus logo (really awfull) Off - (it does the trick, but not completely as it should, this method does not detect my monitor's resolution - 2560x1440 and it shows the logo in some really low res, like 640x480@4:3 streched to 16:9, really not good looking) Uh? Allright then... perhaps I will end up flashing the mobo's logo with Windows logo, which is really an easy thing to do.
Just let it sleep instead of rebooting and you'll never see it...at least hardly ever. Not meant to sound like an offhand answer but seriously, modern PCs really aren't meant to be shut down and rebooted every day like they were in the past.
My old asus board came with a app for changing the boot logo, im sure thats still an option, check their downloads
Go into your BIOS > Advanced Mode > Boot menu change Boot Logo Display > Disabled View attachment 36520
Almost every board certified for windows 8 will show manufacturer logo instead of windows logo in uefi boot mode. It's part of the specification.
It is possible to change the bootlogo. ASUS offers such toolkit to their OEM Partners. Maybe it is possible to ask the support team?
Are you sure this works with the newer UEFI Systems with graphical interface, usable with mouse etc. ?
This is what I get with Asus MyLogo View attachment 36523 So in my case I have to flash before getting a new logo Ps and I don't like flashing from within windows It did cost me an motherboard once
I would advise you to steer clear of it in a UEFI system because it might cost you having unstable system.
Last time I cared about the boot logo was on Win98SE when I decided I wanted to stare at SSJ Goku for 5 minutes while my system booted. I can't even read my MoBo manufacturers logo in the time its shown anymore.
