    Every time i start my Windows on my laptop, I have to go to windows 7 via boot manager. I don't have vista on there anymore. Is there a way to turn this off?

    Don't need easy bcd why do you want to install a software just to remove a boot entry?
    Waste of harddisk space...
    Start Command Prompt right click run as admin
    type
    bcdedit /delete {whichever id you want to delete}
    bcdedit /default {whichever id that load Windows 7}

    All you need to do is right-click on "Computer" on the desktop and choose "Properties".
    <A window will open...>
    Next, in this new window, click on "Advanced System Settings" (on the upper left side of the window, under the "System Protection" link).
    <Another window will open...>
    Now, make sure the "Advanced" tab is active on this new window that pops up.
    Then click on the "Settings" button under "Startup and Recovery".
    <And yet another window will open...this is the one we want...>

    From here you can change how long to display the boot menu, the default selection, etc. If you want Win7 to start automatically with no boot menu, set Win7 to the "Default Operating System", then set the "Time to display list of operating systems" to 0... Easy. No extra programs for bloat, and no command console...

    Use the feature built into windows...
