i am unable to start the windows firewall service.
windows could not start the windows firewall on local computer. for more information, review the system event log. Error code 5.

    Eventvwr
The Windows Firewall service terminated with the following service-specific error:
    Access is denied.

Tried some solution from the internet, but it doesn't work
I have added mvpsvc service string to full permission in regedit.
i have uninstalled the Symantec antivirus.

Perhaps you've been infected by a virus or a trojan, are you logged as administrator ?
If yes you should try to download an antivirus and see the results after analysing.

Seems to be that your Windows 8 isn't properly activated and therefore you got some problems. IF you had used an so called "Activator" you'll have to reset your system.

You can also do in an admin cmd prompt:

    Code:
    sfc -scannow
and Try Windows firewall after that.
