Windows Defender update

    Anyone know if this is safe to install? kb915597 windows defender update def file or should we hold off on updating windows 7 things for awhile?

    That's the weird thing I got this copy of windows 7 off one of the torrent sites and I never did anything to activate it just installed it. It shows activated for me though with an oem product key. Anyways I guess ill just hold off for now on updates. :(

    LAWLS. Maybe someone should put together an Windows Updates Downloader kit that tells people which downloads are safe. Oh well, I guess no updates for you. :(

    Currently we have zero reports of updates causing harm. If any turn up, they will be added to the Risky - Avoid category of my Update List.
