Windows Defender updates

    hi, just want to ask if its ok to install windows defender updates in windows 7?? I have an update KB915597 is it safe?

    Always avoid Windows Updates that came from an unknown location..
    If Microsoft officially sends you one, then do it, but if not, don't.

    thanks MCGamer for the reply...its actually from microsoft...via windows update...so i guess its ok to update then? even if my windows 7 is activated using activators...

    Yes, Microsoft cannot tell the difference between a real version and you using an activator, so you are fine with all Windows updates.

    updates from other sources can't be reliable :roll:
