does anyone know how to change windows defender to manual in services? I've tried altering the permissions but for some reason it doesn't work. I even tried from the recovery console, which worked, but on rebooting the registry entry changed back to auto.
select "settings" tab in main window of windows defender and select "Administrator" on left pane... on right pane uncheck tick mark for "Turn on windows defender" and click on "save changes" button. Now windows defender has been tuned off & windows starts warning that Windows defender has been turned off...
