    Hi,

    I am going to try windows defender with win 10, What I would like to know, is it necessary to setup onedrive or can I dismiss it? Same question with account protection, do I have to sign in or can I dismiss it?

    I dont understan why you would need OneDrive to use Defender?
    Anyhow, no its not necessary. You dont have to sign in either.
