Windows downloading old card driver?

    Hi.I have bought a newer graphic card but windows still want to download drivers(double) for old card.Is there a way to fix this.

    Delete old card from device manager.

    there is no old card in device menager...

    Some time ago, i had the same strange thing as you.
    After searching and searching this option did do the trick for me, no install for the old card anymore.

    Start an command prompt with elevated rights and then copy/paste this in the windows command prompt and hit enter.

    Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase

    The restart your computer after it finished, the problem should be away now.
    For other people info; This option does only work in windows 8 8/1 or 10.

    If for any reason you only get an error after this command, then run this first in the same window.

    sfc/scannow

    Restart every time your computer after it finish and do the command again until no errors are found anymore.
