Looks like i will get stacked with Windows versions 14393 and 17763 , cause 19041 is way problematic regarding bios updates and managing updates in general. I would like to ask you kindly for something similar to 17763.1_Windows_10_Enterprise_LTSC_LiteR_amd64_en-US.install , but for the regular 17763.1_Windows_10_Enterprise edition , not the LTSC one , cause looks like the media contents and more thinks regarding processing video on LTSC are limited . This was discussed a year or two ago. At that time, I said that if you modify the deploymemt manifest file, there will be installation errors. Now you use this method to succeed, maybe there is a problem with my method.
a year or two ago? I can't remember. It is very sensitive. it failed with even a minor symbol. And the original components must be completely removed (not manually), or it might failed as well. (You can't just re-install it at top of the original package.)
Yes, I know what you were talking about. Check deployment manifest, and the update.mum carefully with the original contents. Remember: 1. Sometimes, for unknown reason, the official cab itself may cause installation errors. Unpack and retry. 2. Maybe the captured package is not complete. 3. Even an official package won't allow successful installation for lacking some dependencies, or some applicability prerequisite. e.g IIS. You did not modified the original before installing the repacked one, did you? Under such circumstances, no wonder.
Simply modify the version number of update.mum and AADbrokerPlugin-Deployment to 19041, and the others are extracted by 19041WinSxS.
